Experienced ECE support teacher
We have an exciting opportunity for support staff to join our centre on a casual basis. This role is primarily to work alongside our qualified teachers in the ECE learning environments and would be well suited to people with life experience who love working alongside children aged 5 and under.
Some of the Key Responsibilities are:- Being an effective and efficient team member who can support the Centre Philosophy, Policies and Procedures.
- Build and maintain positive & nurturing relationships with all children, teachers and parents.
- Being involved in care routines for children aged 3 months – 5 years.
- Assisting teachers in the daily programme which may eventually include being involved in the Assessment, Planning and Evaluation.
- Re-setting and re-presenting learning environments throughout the day.
- Covering planned (and at times) leave at short notice of permanent staff members.
- a proactive, confident and reliable team member.
- experience in ECE is a bonus but so is life experience and a passion to share, teach and grow alongside others
- someone who has a genuine love for working with children and has a warm and caring disposition

Training and induction will be essential before starting as there are many aspects of Health and Safety that need to be covered before this position starts – this includes a police vet and safety check.
