Barista - Casual
About the Role**
We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at James Wattie Retirement Village in Havelock North as a **Casual Barista**. This position will require you to work on an as needed basis to provide cover for leave and busy periods, including weekends.
In this role you will:
Provide an excellent food and beverage service in the café for residents, relatives and visitors. Experience making coffee is essential.Promote a welcoming and caring atmosphere within the villageBe responsible for crafting delicious beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the caféWork closely with, and support your colleagues
**About You**
To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:
Previous experience as a Barista in a busy café environmentOutstanding communication and customer service skills, with the ability to multitask between coffee making, serving customers and food serviceStrong empathy with a cheerful and approachable demeanourA reliable, friendly and professional manner with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
