2IC Large Scale Dairy Farm

Springhill Dairies is a large-scale dairy farm business situated between Ongaonga and Tikokino in the sunny Hawkes Bay.
We are looking for a 2IC to assist our manager in the day-to-day operations on a 1650 cow dairy farm.
The farm is nearly all irrigated and a well-maintained farm infrastructure. A modern 70-bale rotary shed with ACR's and protrack. We run Afi Collars on all our cows to monitor cow health and minimise work during mating. The farm runs a split calving system, with 400 cows calving in the autumn and remainder in the spring.
Skills and Experience:- Strong knowledge of pasture grazing systems
- Someone who can get the best utilisation of pastures from the cows
- Has a passion for the dairy industry
We have a drug free policy and will carry out random drug tests throughout the year. Must have a valid driver's licence and a New Zealand work visa.
