Hospitality & Liquor Sales Rep (Contract)
We’re a New Zealand beverage brand operating in the alternative drinks space, and we’re looking for an experienced hospitality and retail-focused sales representative to help grow our presence across retail liquor stores and hotels, with additional exposure to bars and restaurants.
This is a flexible, contract-based role suited to someone already active in the liquor and hospitality trade or building a portfolio of complementary beverage brands. You’ll have autonomy over your territory and the opportunity to represent a distinctive, fast-growing NZ brand.
The role:You’ll be responsible for developing and managing relationships across retail liquor and hospitality accounts, with a strong focus on opening new stockists and driving repeat orders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Selling into retail liquor stores and hotel groups, with secondary focus on bars and restaurants
- Opening new accounts and supporting ongoing re-orders
- Presenting and selling our product range to owners, managers and buyers
- Supporting tastings, staff training and in-store or on-premise activation
- Building relationships across the trade
About you
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience selling into retail liquor and/or hospitality in New Zealand
- Existing relationships with liquor store owners, hotel buyers or hospitality managers
- Confidence working independently and managing your own time and territory
- A relationship-led, commercially minded sales approach
- Experience selling beverage products (alcohol or non-alcohol) is strongly preferred.
