An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and motivated Internal Sales Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building customer relationships and has an interest in, or knowledge of, engineering and workshop machinery.
You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service through telephone and counter sales, assisting customers in selecting the right products for their needs, and supporting the sales process through accurate quoting and invoicing.
Key Responsibilities:- Telephone and counter sales
- Preparing computerised quotes and invoices
- Assisting customers to identify the most suitable products
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Providing ongoing customer service and support
- Applying strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Working collaboratively within a close-knit team
You may come from a trade background (such as engineering, cabinet making, or automotive mechanics) and be looking for a change in career direction, or you may already have experience in industrial or machinery sales.
To be successful in this role, you will:- Have excellent time management, communication skills, and attention to detail
- Be results-oriented, motivated, and a strong team player
- Possess good computer skills, including MS Office
- Be technically minded, with an interest or knowledge of engineering machinery
- Have the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Trade experience or an industrial sales background will be highly regarded
