Northern Area Sales Manager – Full Time

Power Turf NZ Ltd is a leading provider of premium sports turf care machinery solutions across New Zealand. Representing world-renowned brands, we proudly support a wide customer base that includes golf courses, local councils, sports facilities, airports, and commercial contractors.
We are looking for a motivated and self-driven Northern Area Sales Manager to join our Auckland-based team and take ownership of the upper North Island territory (Taupo north).About the Role:
This is a dynamic, customer-facing role focused on building relationships, managing key accounts, identifying new opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions from our broad product portfolio.
You’ll be representing trusted brands, including Jacobsen, Club Car, and Tru-Turf – to name just a few. This is a role that seeks to deliver high-quality results, whilst offering an exciting and rewarding career.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and grow sales across the upper North Island region.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Develop and present tailored sales proposals and product demonstrations.
- Represent Power Turf at trade shows, customer events, and industry field days.
- Provide product knowledge, support, and after-sales service in collaboration with our service and parts teams.
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for new business development.
- Proven experience in sales or account management – experience in sports turf or related sectors is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build long-term relationships and provide outstanding customer support.
- A proactive, organised, and self-motivated approach to work.
- Ability to travel across the region up to 40-50% of the time.
- Mechanical aptitude, a practical mindset and a passion for the industry (all advantages).
- Full, clean NZ driver’s licence a must and the ability to tow a trailer is a plus.
