These roles are based at Auckland City Hospital and are an ideal opportunity for a Physiotherapist to gain experience working across our hospital.This role will see you performing the below duties:Carrying a full and diverse clinical caseload: Services you may cover include stroke & neurology, older persons health, general medicine, orthopaedics, falls & frailty.Work collaboratively with a range of professional groups in a multidisciplinary bicultural environmentRegardless of your experience, you will receive a thorough orientation and be well supported in your role.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of conditions from specialist services.Click here to view the position description About the TeamOur Physiotherapy service is made up of passionate and supportive Physiotherapists motivated to improve the quality of life and health outcomes of the communities we serve.Our Physiotherapy team consists of 94FTE, working across both inpatient and outpatient settings.For more information on living and working in Auckland click hereAbout youAs the ideal person for this role you will have the following skills and attributes:New Zealand registration as a Physiotherapist with a current Annual Practicing CertificateExperience level:Ideally have 2+ years post-graduate experience including clinical experience in a hospital setting.A flexible, pro-active and can-do approachExcellent clinical reasoning skills and use of evidence informed practiceEvidence of establishing and developing working relationships within the wider MDTEffective time management, prioritisation and organisation skillsAbility to work autonomously in a bicultural environment and knowledge of the acute hospital environmentUnderstanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how to provide culturally safe care in the acute hospital environmentRegardless of your experience, you will receive a thorough orientation and be well supported in your role.
