About the role | Mō te tūranga mahiThe Manager, Commercial & Pricing is a critical leadership position focused on maturing ACC as an active, strategic commissioner. You will lead the design and execution of commercial frameworks that do more than manage costs-they shape the market to ensure the right services are available at the right value.
By overseeing complex pricing models and commercial levers, you will drive provider performance and ensure the efficient use of resources. You will work closely with senior leaders and sector partners to ensure our commercial strategy directly translates into meaningful, long-term recovery outcomes for New Zealanders.
Key responsibilities include:Developing and implementing a market-shaping strategy to ensure a sustainable and competitive provider landscape.Optimising the use of commercial levers and pricing mechanisms to incentivise high-quality performance and efficiency.Leading a shift to ensure commercial arrangements are robust, transparent, and outcome-focused.Providing expert advice to senior leadership on market dynamics, pricing risks, and strategic commercial opportunities.About you | MōuYou will bring:Extensive leadership experience in commercial, pricing, or economic environmentsDemonstrated success leading complex teams and portfoliosStrong strategic thinking with the ability to influence at executive levelDeep understanding of commercial drivers, pricing models, and market dynamicsExcellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skillsA values'led leadership approach aligned with public'sector purposeYou must hold New Zealand work rights at the time of application.The appointing salary for this role is $164,705 - $213,100 based on experience and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution.
