Te Aira Transport provides general freight services for a prominent freight forwarding company. This position requires planned long-distance cargo transportation along designated routes.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate a Class 5 heavy vehicle on long-distance linehaul routes
- Ensure timely pickups and deliveries
- Carry out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Secure loads in line with safety and compliance standards
- Keep accurate logbooks and delivery documentation
- Communicate efficiently with dispatch and operations teams
- Follow all road safety regulations and company guidelines
