Ko wai koe / About you:

Manaaki Ora is seeking a motivated and culturally responsive Driver Licence Support Facilitator to support clients—particularly Maori and Pasifika—on their journey to achieving learner and restricted driver licences.
This role is focused on reducing barriers to licensing by providing practical support, guidance, and encouragement, while delivering services in a way that is culturally grounded, inclusive, and mana-enhancing.

You will possess the skills and/or experience relevant to working in this, at times, challenging environment.

Nga pukenga ka whai koe/ Skills you will have:
  • You will have a Youth work qualification and/or equivalent experience working with young people.
  • Leadership skills and motivation to build positive relationships
  • Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively.
  • Full current New Zealand Drivers Licence
  • You will be able to lead the implementation of the Drivers Licence programme
  • Record engagement and progress accurately in the EXESS database
