Air conditioning/refrig. technicians
North Shore Refrigeration and Air Conditioning are looking for enthusiastic, experienced Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Technicians to join our team in Auckland. The available Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Technicians positions are full time.Hours of work 8.00am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday excluding Public Holidays. Hourly wage $38-60/hour. (Based on experience)
Your duties will include:
- Service and maintenance on Ducted air conditioning systems
- Service and maintenance of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Trouble shooting of Ducted air conditioning systems
- Installation of split air conditioning systems
- Service and maintenance of control systems
- Establishing job requirements
- Installing and repairing components
- Connecting equipment and checking alignment
- Filling systems and checking for leaks
- Test operating systems, check mechanisms and make adjustments
- Checking and overhauling systems, diagnosing faults, repairing and replacing defective components
- Adjusting system controls and mechanisms and reassembling systems
- Recording causes or malfunction and action taken
Requirements for this role:
- At least 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Clean driver’s license
- Basic computer skills for data entry of jobs whilst on site
- Have good communication skills
- Able to work unsupervised
- Be technically capable
- Be qualified in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) systems and controls
- Be able to follow health and safety measures at work
- Be physically fit
- Have a positive can-do attitude
- Reliable and keen to turn up for work
