YMS NZ LIMITED specialises in professional HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) solutions across Auckland. We provide installation, maintenance, and servicing of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems for both commercial and residential clients.
As an Air-conditioning Technician, you will be responsible for:- Installing, maintaining, repairing, and servicing air-conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systems.
- Diagnosing faults, performing testing, and ensuring systems comply with relevant safety and performance standards.
- Reading and interpreting technical diagrams, specifications, and manuals.
- Undertaking routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and optimise system efficiency.
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects on time and to a high standard.
- Maintaining accurate service records and reporting job progress to supervisors.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in HVAC and air-conditioning systems.
- Knowledge of air-conditioning components, equipment, and tools.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot system faults effectively.
- Good physical fitness and willingness to work both indoors and outdoors.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.
- Trade qualification in HVAC or equivalent is advantageous.
- A current driver licence is preferred but not mandatory.
- Competitive pay rate: $28–$35 per hour based on background and qualifications.
