Soanes Collision Repairs are a Hamilton based Collision Repair Centre and Auto Body Repair Shop for all Insurance and private work for over 45 years

We are a Structural Repair Centre, we encourage and support off job training to keep up with the latest manufacturer repair methods and information

We are now seeking a full - time Panel beater / welder and estimator to join our hard working and highly skilled team!!!

Our ideal Panel Beater / Welder and Estimator will be:

• Assessing vehicles for damage and providing quotes and insurance report
• Removing Damaged parts

• Straightening damaged panels
• Filling holes and hammering up panels
• Repairing all aspects of damaged cars
• Chassis straightening
• Welding Skills
• Be able to work unsupervised
• Neat and tidy in appearance

You will also have the following:

• Aptitude for technical activities
• Good practical, manual work ethics
• Ability to use machinery and tools
• Good hand / eye coordination
• Time management
• A minimum of two- years verifiable work experience
• Legal rights to work in New Zealand
• Be able pass alcohol and drugs test
• Minimum class 1 drivers license or equivalent

.Ideally, a certified and qualified welder.

• Full - time 40 hrs per week with minimum of 30hrs, working Monday through Friday or as needed by the

• Hourly rate $28 - $35 negotiable depending on Skills and experience
