Along with kitchens, we also pride ourselves on creating bespoke pieces for residential, commercial and retail customers.
We have strong levels of new enquiry and forward work in the pipeline so are looking to add another designer to the team who can hit the ground running while being well supported working alongside our three other designers.
The right person
Our work is varied so having a good understanding of all aspects of cabinetry is essential. Will have a proven sales track record in the kitchen or building industry. Be organised, have an eye for detail and able to multitask is important. You will need good technical skills, preferably have had experience with a kitchen design software and an understanding of kitchen hardware and materials.Some on-the-job training is available.
The Role
We require someone full time however the hours are flexible for the right candidate.
The role will consist of the following tasks:- Site & showroom sales consultations
- Providing mock ups and specifying plans for our detailers to draw
- Drawing up your own kitchens and cabinetry on our CAD software if required
- Obtaining quotes and compiling plans ready for pricing
- Contributing to social media content
- Meeting with clients in our showroom to go over plans, colours etc
- Great communication, customer service, sales skills
- Respect for clients differing opinions, styles and financial situations
- Happy to work as part of a team and have a laugh
Uncapped earnings potential with a remuneration package comprising an hourly rate (based on experience and skill level) + sales commission.
Candidates must be a NZ Resident and hold a full drivers licence.
