Stores and Services Person - Te Awamutu

About the role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Store and Services role will focus on maintaining and improving the efficiency of our warehouse operations though ensuring that the warehouse is kept tidy and organized, and dispatches and receiving of goods tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

The employee would also assist with production support of our in house made filters.

• Assisting with the unloading of containers and delivery trucks through the use of a light forklift as well as the manually lifting of boxes.
• Organizing freight pick ups, packing of product and arranging daily dispatches of customer orders.
• Completing the relevant process in the computer system for arranging outward consignment notes and receiving in of goods.
• Monitoring and ordering of warehouse packing and stationery supplies.
• Assisting in the light production area with the manufacturing of filters.

• Above average written and oral communications skills.
• Attention to detail is important.
• Numerical literacy.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Warehousing experience (Desired)
• Safe and efficient experience with a forklift.
• Fit and capable of physically lifting boxes.
• Problem solving and effective time management skills.
• Current and clean drivers licence
• Competent computer skills including MS Office software
