We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic professional who is passionate about making a difference that can contribute to our busy theatre supply chain team by ensuring that consumable items are readily available for our clinicians and patients when required.
About the RoleAs a Storeperson, reporting to the Distribution Manager Theatre, you will be enthusiastic, detailed and customer service oriented. Operating within the Supply Chain Inventory Services guidelines and processes, you will be responsible for working with a team ensuring that the theatres, wards, clinics, fixed storage and mobile storage units are holding the required stocks on a day-to-day basis.
Key responsibilities:Daily checking of storage areas within the theatres, wards and clinical areas and re-ordering using portable handheld scannersPicking and transporting stock into the allocated inventory storage locationsReceiving, unpacking, checking off and stocking to individual item levelCommunicating effectively with team members and clinical staffRegularly assessing stock levels and performing cycle counts.
The salary for this position will be based on experience and in line with the National Health Administration Workers Collective agreement. Additional benefits include KiwiSaver contributions (if eligible), shift allowances, professional development and wellness support.

About youAs Storeperson in a hospital environment, you must have great attention to detail understanding the importance of accurate inventory management in a healthcare setting and how it can directly affect patient outcomes.
