Nanny/ Childcare
We’re looking for a warm, reliable, and energetic nanny to join our family and care for our 16 month old son, Jack. He’s a bubbly little fellow who’s just starting to walk, full of smiles, and ready to be kept busy. You’ll be responsible for providing unsupervised in home care, creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where Jack can thrive and develop.
About our family
We’re Emma (partner at a local accountancy firm) and Tom (builder). We work long hours but prioritize quality family time —. We live on the edge of Gore beside Croydon Lodge. We also have a small dog (Peanut) who rules the house and a cat (Cashew).We’re easy-going, approachable, and would love someone who’s kind, has a bit of banter, and genuinely loves kids.
Key responsibilitiesFull daily care for Jack: nappy changes, bathing/showering, dressing appropriately for the day
Preparing and supervising children’s meals and snacksPlanning and running age appropriate creative, educational and outdoor activities
Reading and encouraging early learning and play
Implementing daily routines, naps and bedtimes
Ensuring Jack’s bedroom and play areas are tidy at day’s end
Reinforcing age appropriate boundaries and discipline
Transporting to pre school/activities when required
Preparing family dinners Monday–Friday
Washing and ironing family clothes and light general housework related to child care

Vehicle to cart Jack to different activitiesWork hours between 8.30am - 5.30pm week days (some flexibility around start and end time)
