Location – Christchurch city
At least 3 years of relevant experience working in commercial kitchen or a relevant college qualification.
You need to have proven skills and will be responsible for the below tasks:
- Working in a fast paced kitchen
- Presentation of food
- Operate and clean commercial kitchen equipment like waffle iron, pizza trays, oven, microwave etc after service.
- Must have knowledge of HACCP plan.
- Follow the required recipes for cooking
- Receiving food deliveries and verifying that all ordered items have been delivered and are of good quality
- Organising and prepping for pizza and waffle station
- Improving the quality and taste of food items, adding new items to the menu
- Help in menu pricing and planning.
- Calculating and minimising costs
- Reducing wastage
- Supervise and train kitchen staff
- Follow food hygiene protocols
Minimum hours of work will be 30 per week.
Pay rate - $25 to $30 based on skills and experience
