Accountant
Broad, end-to-end accounting role with variety and ownership

Work in a small, collaborative team on a 12-month fixed-term contract as the accountant within a larger business. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, taking ownership of day-to-day finance operations and contributing to a strong internal control environment.
Working closely with senior staff and external providers, you'll manage core accounting functions including month-end reporting, reconciliations, compliance tasks, and process improvements. You'll be confident in your technical skills and bring a proactive, detail-oriented approach to your work.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and process journals, reconciliations, and month-end reporting
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Maintain compliance with financial policies and relevant legislation
- Liaise with external auditors and service providers as required
- Support improvements to systems, processes, and controls
- Provide general financial support across the business as needed
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or working towards CA preferred
- Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting or finance roles
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, general ledger processes, and accounting standards
- Comfortable working with external providers (e.g. auditors, system vendors)
- Strong Excel and accounting systems knowledge
