Customer Service Representative - Hastings
Waipukurau
Reporting to the Store Manager, you'll join a large team of nine. In this role you will support our Waipukurau Rural Supplies team completing a variety of tasks including deliveries, storeroom duties and customer service in our retail shop.
About the role:
- Customer service role/Storeperson
- Permanent, full-time role - 40 hours Monday to Friday and rostered Saturday mornings
- Operate company vehicles such as forklifts, utes and delivery vehicles safely
- Apply excellent attention to detail to accurately receive and process inwards/outwards good
- Follow direction and processes as you load the PGW delivery truck and ute/trailer and complete deliveries to clients sites
- Attend to assigned tasks in a timely manner to ensure efficient operations of the store
- Use your exceptional customer service skills to greet and serve customers
- Assist with loading/unloading deliveries
- Network with customers as you share your knowledgeable advice about our extensive product range.
Skills and experience:
- A full, current, and clean NZ driver's licence, with the ability to operate a manual vehicle, and reverse trailers. F endorsement will be an advantage however training can be provided
- Good physical fitness as you will be on your feet for the majority of the day and be required to complete many manual handling tasks, you will also be required to regularly lift up to 20kgs
- Great communication and willingness to be an outstanding team player
- Strong computer literacy skills that enable you to promptly switch on to our systems
- Rural sector knowledge and experiences.
