Location: Wellington | Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm

Tradestaff Wellington is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Trade Assistant to join our client’s engineering and maintenance team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong initiative, a good work ethic, and the ability to work independently once trained.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assisting with maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Supporting preventative maintenance programs
• Keeping tools and the workshop clean, organised, and secure
• Recording parts in inventory and supporting engineering projects
• Maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards to avoid product contamination
• Communicating with supervisors and team members to support daily operations
