Responsibilities:As a Weapons Repair Technician your primary responsibilities will include:
- Hands-on repair and maintenance on our customer’s weapons fleet, comprising of small arms, support weapons, artillery and armoured vehicles.
- Perform scheduled servicing, testing and evaluation on the weapons fleet.
- Provide technical solutions and advice to meet business and customer requirements.
It is essential you have hands-on experience in all facets of small arms and weapons systems servicing, repair and maintenance and hold a recognised NZDF qualification in Weapons Repair.
You will also hold a full Class 1 vehicle license and ideally a NZ Firearms license.

Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain a New Zealand Defence Security Clearance by meeting one of the following criteria:
- A NZ citizen, OR
- A NZ Permanent Resident who has resided in NZ for the past 10 years OR
- A citizen of Australia, Canada, UK or the USA who has a current work permit for NZ
You will also be required to undergo pre-employment activities including drug screening and vetting by NZ Police.
