Based in Fielding, the Technician is key to maintaining and repairing a wide range of farm & construction equipment. The team is expanding, so this is a great opportunity.
About the role:
As a Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing tractors, harvesters and other machinery in a fully equipped workshop. Around 60% of the work is based in-house and the balance out in the field. Work also includes machine assembly and refurbishment.
You’ll work alongside a supportive team and play a vital part in keeping our customers’ equipment reliable and ready for the field. Hours of work 7am-5pm Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on agricultural equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Undertake pre-delivery assembly and testing of new machinery
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
About you:
You will have worked as mechanic or technician before in agricultural , heavy machinery or motor vehicle industries. What’s important is a willingness to do what’s required and to be adaptable and versatile.
What you'll bring:
- Relevant experience in agricultural, automotive, or heavy machinery service & repairs a trade certification isn’t a requirement
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to safety and quality
- Experience with agricultural machinery is an advantage, but training will be provided
