Tractor Driver

Requirements Must Have Valid Class 1 Driver Licence or International Driver Licence equivalent to New Zealand Licence

1. Driving tractors, Vans and other farm implements and Class 1vehicles. Operating tractors safely and efficiently.
2. Driving and carrying out regular maintenance and repairs of tractors and other farm implements.
3. Performing inspections of tractors and attachments like graders, rollers, and plows, and ensuring they are well-lubricated.
4. Using tractors to transport materials and pull or push agricultural equipment.
5. Reporting any faults or concerns to the Manager/Owner.
6. Remaining alert while driving and servicing the tractor and maintaining the appropriate speed limit at all times.
7. Completing minor repairs on tractor and farm equipment.
8. Loading goods onto tractor or trolley and securing loads
9. Tie down loads and cover them with tarpaulins
10. Stacking loads on pallets, trays, flats
11. Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles
12. Making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely

You should be hard working, drug free, sincere and responsible. Will need to work on weekends. If you can’t do all that, please excuse and don’t apply.
