Carpenters Wanted – Canterbury
Experienced Carpenter ready for your next challenge?
We’ve got a range of roles across the Canterbury region for skilled and experienced carpenters who know their way around residential, commercial, and civil projects.
Canterbury will be the predominant area of work for this role, however you may also be required to work in the Otago and Southland regions.
This will be discussed further with the successful applicant.
What you’ll be doing:
We’re looking for carpenters confident in:
- Residential, commercial & civil carpentry
- 1st, 2nd & final fix
- Reading plans and following specifications
- Shuttering joinery & steel tying
- Framing, subflooring, cladding, and roof framing
- Concrete formwork (a bonus)
Whether you're building new homes, working on commercial interiors, or supporting civil infrastructure, your skills will be put to good use.
What we’re after:
- 3+ years’ experience on the tools
- Trade qualification preferred (or solid experience)
- Own hand & power tools
- Full licence and reliable transport
- Two work references
- 100% commitment to health & safety
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
What you’ll get:
- $30-$40 per hour, depending on experience
- Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours/week
