Casual/Part-Time Gardener – Summer Role (January–March)

Green Valley Gardening, Wellington’s experts in high-quality garden maintenance, is looking for a skilled gardener to assist with our workload over the summer months.

• Casual/part-time position, 1–3 days per week from January for approximately 2–3 months.
• Work primarily in Lower and Upper Hutt, maintaining residential gardens.
• You’ll be working alongside another experienced employee, supporting the upkeep of established gardens.

• General garden maintenance including weeding, trimming, pruning, mulching, and seasonal planting.
• Assisting with long-term garden development and ensuring high standards of presentation.

• Strong gardening experience, ideally with a Level 3 or 4 horticulture certificate.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and pride in delivering quality work.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small team.
• This role may suit a contractor seeking short-term work.
