Registered Mental Health Nurse

About the Role In this dynamic role, youwill provide your mental health nursing skills for children, adolescents, andtheir families or caregivers.
You'll work collaboratively within amulti-disciplinary team, contributing your expertise to ensure holistic andculturally responsive care.Your role will also involve consultation and liaison with externalservices and agencies, helping to build strong, supportive networks around ouryoung people.
As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, you'llcontribute to both clinical and service development initiatives, bringing yourinsights and ideas to shape the future of our service.Education and information-sharing are also key elements of thisposition'you'll provide guidance and support to external agencies, as well asempowering tamariki, rangatahi and their whanau with the knowledge they need tonavigate their mental health journey.About theTeam/Service Location Join oursmall, supportive Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service team based insunny Kāpiti, where we pride ourselves on working closely with NGOs, schools,and the wider community to make a real difference for tamariki and rangatahi.Kapiti CAMHS utilises the choice and Partnership Approach (CAPA) to provideefficient accessible services for tamariki, rangatahi and their whanau.
About you Registeredmental health, nurse with current nursing registration in New Zealand.A good sense of humour and a teamspirit are definite advantages in this rewarding role.Experience working with children, adolescents, andtheir whānau in a mental health setting.Strong assessment, risk management, and therapeutic intervention skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and alongside community partners.Willing to work full time.Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
