From providing front-line customer support at our busy enquiries desk, to coordinating meeting rooms, issuing ID cards, and overseeing uniform distribution, you'll ensure everything runs seamlessly. You'll support the key administrative processes that keep our hospital running smoothly, and create a welcoming experience for patients, visitors, and staff alike.

You'll be someone who consistently goes the extra mile and is a true team player, ready to contribute to our collaborative environment.This is a 0.4 FTE role, working 32 hours per fortnight. Shifts are rostered between 7:30 AM and 8:00 PM, Monday to Friday, and 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday.

Shifts will be mostly 4 hours in length, with some 8 hour shifts as roster requires it. You will be based at Waikato Hospital. Key responsibilities of the role:Provide Front-Line Customer Service: You'll be the welcoming first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff, assisting with enquiries, directions, and managing the busy enquiries desks.Deliver Comprehensive Administrative Support: This includes handling general office duties, precise data entry, report generation, and managing service orders and invoicing.Coordinate Essential Hospital Services: You'll oversee meeting room bookings, set up AV equipment, prepare catering spaces, and manage uniform distribution from sizing to returns.Manage ID Cards and Support Operational Needs: You'll be responsible for issuing ID cards and assisting with crucial tasks related to linen, laundry, and cleaning audits.Assist with Volunteer Coordination: Your role will also involve supporting the daily monitoring, data collection, and recruitment efforts for hospital volunteers.
