- s and our catchment area is approximately 20,000 squarekilometres of the South Island.AboutyouAs a senior member of the neonatalmultidisciplinary team, the successful applicant will have excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills and be able to provide effectiveclinical leadership, direction and support to the neonatal nursing staff.The ability to problem solves, make keydecisions and confront/resolve issues are imperative to ensuring the provisionof safe effective evidence-based quality care to the infants and families ofthe Neonatal Services.A Minimum of 5 years recent neonatal intensive care experience.Demonstrates advance nursing skills comparable to senior nurse or expert PDRP with experience and understanding of the neonatal journey working across all levels of neonatal care.Advanced understanding of and proven commitment to, working in partnership with our service users, their families/whanau and other health service providers in the community.Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
