Cleaning Team Supervisor - ref. v90647103

We're looking for a friendly, motivated individual to lead our dedicated cleaning team!

This part-time role is primarily administrative, with occasional hands-on cleaning support. You'll help ensure Waimate's public toilets, Event Centre, and other Council facilities stay sparkling clean.

• Coordinating and rostering the cleaning team, including managing timesheets and leave requests
• Ordering and tracking cleaning supplies, and creating electronic purchase orders
• Responding to emails and phone calls, and liaising with contractors when needed
• Purchasing and distributing staff supplies across Council facilities
• Setting up and packing down food and crockery for important meetings
• Providing backup cleaning support and assisting with ‘spring cleans'

• Highly organised, with flexibility around start/finish times/minimum hours per day, to suit operations
• Comfortable with both administrative tasks and hands-on cleaning
• A clear communicator and calm under pressure
• A team player who keeps morale high and operations smooth
• A full New Zealand driver licence

• $30 per hour, 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8am and 4:30pm
