- About the role At Toitū Te Whenua
- Land Information New Zealand, our collaborative and supportive health, safety, and wellbeing team are looking for a knowledgeable and operationally experienced Senior Business Partner to join the team and support the continuous improvement of our health, safety, and wellbeing capability, performance and culture.
With significant field based operational experience and a demonstrated track record providing expert health and safety advice and support within complex and dynamic environments, you'll work in partnership with operational teams to support the development, implementation and monitoring of effective health and safety management and engagement practices.
This will help ensure that the H&S team, business units, and Toitū Te Whenua are best placed to partner with our internal and external stakeholders to protect and maintain the safety of workers and others.You will confidently translate technical information into plain English for your non-technical audiences and will take the initiative to ensure that your messaging is clear and appealing.
You will draw on your working knowledge of New Zealand Health and Safety legislation to identify opportunities for development, and to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
We are looking for someone who has significant filed based operational experience and who is equally comfortable and capable communicating with and influencing front line workers, senior leaders, and external stakeholders.

T The expected appointing range for this role is between $115,000
- $125,000 depending on skills and experience.
