Senior Chef de Partie – The Hayes, Queenstown
We are looking for a Senior Chef de Partie to join our team at The Hayes, Queenstown.
Job Details:
Full-time, permanent position (minimum 30 hours per week)Mostly night shifts with the occasional day ones or doubles
Includes weekends and public holidays (weekly roster)
Competitive pay based on experience (30-32 nzd per hour)

We are seeking someone with experience in a fast-paced kitchen, a strong work ethic, and a passion for quality food.
Must love cleaning as much as cooking, keeping tidy and be open to learn new skills and our ways.

Requirements and responsibilities:
- Manage a dedicated kitchen station
- Be responsible for food quality and presentation
- Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen hands
- Monitor stock levels and reports shortages
- Clean the kitchen and close down plus extra deep cleaning when needed
- Works closely with the Head Chef to achieve kitchen goals
- Minimum of 30 hours per week and up to 40 during busy periods
- Minimum Certficate Level 3 in Cookery OR 2 years experience in similar position in a busy similar style establishment
