About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and skilled Allied Health Professional to lead the allied health acute and rehabilitation teams at Whakatāne Hospital. This is a permanent full-time position. The team is a multidisciplinary team of social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, podiatrists and assistants.
This position is to provide clinical operational leadership and advocacy for the Rehabilitation and Inpatient teams at Whakatāne Hospital. About the Team/Service/LocationThe Allied Health Acute and Rehabilitation teams are based in the Te Koru Rehabilitation department at Whakatāne Hospital, which also hosts the physiotherapy, dietitian, speech language therapy and podiatry outpatient services and the Community Allied Health teams.
The teams all work together to create a vibrant and supportive environment. Boasting some of the most sunlight hours in New Zealand, Whakatāne offers award winning beaches for both surf and fun.
