Liquor Store Manager – Dominion Road, Auckland

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Liquor Store Manager to take charge of the day-to-day operations of our busy liquor store on Dominion Road, Auckland. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills and a background in liquor retail to join a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing, staff management, and customer service

Lead and develop a small team to ensure efficient and friendly service

Ensure full compliance with all NZ liquor licensing laws and regulations

Manage stock levels, supplier orders, and product merchandising

Monitor store performance and drive sales to meet business targets

Implement promotions and maintain high store presentation standards

Handle cash management, reporting, and store security procedures

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of managerial experience in the liquor retail industry

Strong knowledge of liquor products, licensing requirements, and store operations

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Strong organisational and time management abilities

Customer-focused with a commitment to service excellence

Must have the right to work in New Zealand and a valid NZ driver’s licence
