Team leader - Gardening

Your duties would include meeting new/existing clients, business development, planning our maintenance program over the course of the year, planning weekly/monthly schedules, quality control, tool/vehicle maintenance management, budget control and all associated garden maintenance tasks.

You will need to effectively manage your team to achieve the daily targets while maintaining the high standards our clients have come to expect.

The following is essential: -

Experience of leading a team.

Experience with irrigation systems.

Great people management skills.

Positive mentoring skills.

Able to self motivate as well as keep the team motivated.

Strong communication skills, both verbal & written.

Using and performing routine maintenance on associated tools & equipment.

Horticultural experience of at least 2 years, ideally with a qualification.

Plant/weed identification for a range of species, both native and exotic.

Clean, full manual driving license.

The right to work in New Zealand.
