Requirements:
- Genuine experience working with children — paid or in your own life
- A Careerforce Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Wellbeing (or equivalent), or willing to work toward one
- Calm, consistent, and comfortable following a child's lead
- Some understanding of autism, sensory needs, or neurodiverse children would be a real plus
- A current full driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle [if needed]
- Happy to undergo a Police vetting check and provide two references
- Reliable Transport and Driver’s License (min. Restricted)
- NZ Residency or Valid Work Visa
- Subject to clean Police Clearance Check
- Follow instructions well
- Independent and Proactive thinking
Summary:
We're looking for a kind, patient and reliable support worker, who is able to supply additional support needs.
About the role :
- Permanent shifts from 3- 15hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Care in client's home in Kerikeri
- Supporting a child with Personal care & Monitoring various aspects
- Experience with sensory-based play, visual supports, or communication aids
- First Aid certificate
