CNC Machine Operator Trainee – Joinery & Manufacturing
We’re looking for a motivated CNC Machine Operator Trainee to join our team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone wanting to build a career in joinery and manufacturing. You’ll learn how to operate CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machinery used in modern joinery manufacturing.
We’re looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, takes pride in their work, and is keen to build a long-term career in the industry.
What We’re Looking For
You will:
- Be reliable, punctual, and ready to work
- Be physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
- Have a full driver’s licence (or be close to getting one)
- Be willing to listen, learn, and get stuck in
- Use initiative and think ahead
- Have good attention to detail
- Be adaptable and able to switch between tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Have a positive, team-focused attitude
- Be computer and technically savvy
- Be able to read and interpret plans
- Hold a forklift licence (an advantage)
- Have a genuine interest in joinery, manufacturing, and learning new technology
- Joinery experience is highly regarded
- CNC or workshop experience is an advantage
- A mechanical mindset and experience working with machinery is beneficial
