About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Service Manager to lead and manage the Te Kaahui Ora service at Counties Manukau. This pivotal leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, fostering a supportive team environment, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, culturally aligned care for our patients and their whanau.

Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing the day-to-day management of the Te Kaahui Ora Service, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and efficient use of resources.
Upholding Counties Manukau values, tikanga Maori, and Te Ao Maori principles in all aspects of service delivery.
Implementing robust reporting and performance monitoring systems using best management practices.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with primary care partners to enable seamless integration across the health continuum, from primary to tertiary care.

Providing inspirational leadership and direct support to the Te Kaahui Ora team to foster professional growth and excellent patient outcomes.

About you:

You are an experienced leader with:

A minimum of five years senior management experience in a small to medium-sized organisation.
Demonstrated success in service improvement, financial and budget management, and staff leadership.
Strong knowledge of the New Zealand Health Strategy and government policies related to Maori health.
Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.

Fluency in Te Reo Maori is highly desirable and will set you apart.

Your ability to lead with integrity, foster collaboration, and champion Maori health outcomes will be instrumental to your success.
