About the role

• Greeting and serving customers at the retail counter
• Offering helpful, friendly service and basic health advice
• Assisting with product sales, merchandising, and front of shop displays
• Supporting the team with administrative duties like filing, stock control, and inventory
• Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and pharmacy regulations
• Managing dispensing under Pharmacist Supervision
• Fills and labels patients' prescriptions under Pharmacist Supervision
• May record details of, place orders for, take stock of, and store medications and medical supplies and deliver them to patients under Pharmacist Supervision.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
• Able to use initiative and be proactive
• Someone who is reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn
• Strong eye for detail and accuracy
• NZ or overseas Pharmacy degree qualification and/or 2 years work experience related to the role

This is a Permanent Full-Time position with 30 hours per week guaranteed and hourly wage is $26-$33 per hour depending on qualifications and work experience.

Carterton Pharmacy: Open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm and 1 or 2 Saturday mornings a month 9:30am to 12pm.
