Maintenance Coordinator | Casual | Alden Cambridge

About the role
Provide practical maintenance support to ensure all areas of the facility are safe, clean, and well-maintained. You'll work closely with the Facility Manager and wider team to support smooth operations in a casual, flexible role.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out general maintenance, repairs, and safety checks
- Identify hazards and report issues promptly
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order
- Coordinate contractors and monitor completed work
- Assist with cleaning, minor painting, and upkeep of indoor and outdoor spaces
- Attend team meetings and complete required audits
- Make a real difference to residents' safety and comfort
- Work in a values-driven, respectful aged care setting
- Be valued for your skills, reliability, and initiative
Skills & experience
You'll be successful if you have:
- Experience in maintenance or property work (essential)
- Practical, hands-on approach and ability to work independently
- Confident using tools and equipment safely
- Good time management and task prioritisation skills
- Full Class 1 driver licence
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the team
- NZ residency or valid NZ work visa
