Livestock Truck Driver - Class 5

Midlands Rural Transport LTD is a rural cartage company based between Taupo and Rotorua. We specialise in the safe and efficient carting of livestock across New Zealand. We work together with Midlands Ground Spread and Central Transport Limited and cover all areas of rural cartage including fertiliser spreading, bulk fertiliser cartage, bulk liquid cartage.

We require a Livestock Truck Driver to join our amazing team of dedicated drivers. As one of our team of drivers, you will be in direct contact with our clients, ensuring you provide an efficient, friendly, and professional service. You will get to experience the country and enjoy some of New Zealand’s best farms and farming people.

The successful candidate will have their class 5 licence and have stock experience and knowledge. In return, we offer a modern fleet of trucks, competitive remuneration ($30 - $39 per hour) and a team that is dedicated to looking after their employees.

Working Sunday to Friday, you will usually work 50 to 70 hours per week and will stay away from home on average 3 nights per week.

• Must have either farming experience (minimum 1 year) or previous livestock driving experience.
