We are seeking a responsible and experienced Class 5 Driver with road ranger gear box experience and long haul experience to safely operate company vehicles, deliver goods on schedule, and ensure excellent service to our clients. The class 5 truck run is a long haul run in the Waikato.
Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate delivery vehicles on assigned routes
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods
- Maintain accurate delivery records and logs electronically
- Record of cargo deliveries
- Loading and unloading of cargo
- Perform basic vehicle checks and maintenance
- Follow traffic laws and company regulations
- Always ensure use of PPE and adhere to client site instructions
- Always act with professionalism
- Valid Class 5 license
- Currant endorsement for Dangerous goods and F endorsement but not essential
- Currant forklift (OSH) but not essential
- Understand cartage if animal by products and requirement to correct handling of the products.
- Long haul experience minimum of 3 years
- Chaining experience minimum of 3 years
- Experience with road ranger gear box.
- Strong time management and ability to work independently
- Safety-conscious and reliable
- Be Physical fit
- Able to pass a Drug test and police check
- Understanding all permits required for our trucks
- Be able to work Monday to Sunday
