Our Role

We are currently recruiting for a full-time permanent Quarry Operator for our Oparure Limestone Quarry. Reporting to the Quarry Supervisor, you will initially learn about Plant operations around the extraction and production of quality lime before progressing to mobile plant operation.

• Operate fixed plant (crushing and screening)
• Operate mobile plant for load and haul
• Complete basic maintenance and housekeeping
• Collect samples for quality assurance

• be a flexible team player who likes to self-sufficiently deliver high performance, enjoys teamwork and has a willingness to learn and positively apply their skills.
• be safety-minded in all areas of their role.
• have experience operating front end loaders, dump trucks, excavators, crushers, mills, forklifts, water carts, preferably in mining/quarrying roles.
• be computer literate.
• be flexible to work early mornings, days, evenings and weekends as required.
• agree to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test.
