We are seeking a passionate, organized, and experienced Bakery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our artisan bakery. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality customer service, maintain product consistency, manage staff effectively, and support a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Operations & Sales
Oversee day-to-day bakery operations, ensuring smooth workflow from opening to closing.
Monitor inventory and order supplies, ingredients, and packaging as needed.
Manage POS system, track daily sales, and handle cash reconciliation.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with bakers and kitchen staff to ensure timely production and quality control.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of front-of-house and back-of-house.- Staff Management
Hire, train, and schedule front-of-house and support staff.
Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and coaching sessions.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Create shift schedules and ensure proper coverage.- Customer Service
Provide excellent customer service and handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism.
Build relationships with regular customers and foster community engagement.
Support staff in creating a warm, knowledgeable, and attentive customer experience.
Marketing & Events - creatively utilizing social media to promote new products, specials, and seasonal items.
We are open 7 days per week. Must be available to work on weekends and comfortable with early morning starts.
Pay will be subject to experience
