We have exciting opportunities for experienced Automotive car mechanics and Automotive Electricians to join Carplus Auto Services, based at our compliance centre in Otahuhu, Auckland.
About Us:Carplus Auto specialises in compliance inspection, servicing and repairs a full range of vehicles, including petrol, diesel and hybrid
Job description:- Stripping Imported Cars: Prepare vehicles for inspection by carefully disassembling components.
- Servicing: Perform routine maintenance and service tasks on various vehicle types.
- Car's mechanical repairs.
- Team Collaboration: Support and assist colleagues as needed in their tasks.
- Car and parts collection: Collect parts from suppliers to facilitate repair work
- Load your time spent on the car's repairs into the timesheet.
- Automotive Electrician required to perform the above tasks, plus perform electrical fault-finding and routine maintenance on EV cars.
- Work for a minimum of 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:0 pm, and possibly required to work overtime or on Saturday when required.
- The annual leave and sickness leave are according to NZ employment law.
- Payment is between $30/hr and $35/hr, depending on the experience.
- Proven experience and knowledge of at least three years as an Automotive Car Mechanic/ Electrical equivalent to NZ level three qualifications.
- Enthusiastic and energetic with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- NZ driving licence.

What you need to apply:- Minimum of three years of mechanical/ Electrical experience and a level 3 qualification in Automotive Mechanical or Electrical.
- Proactive and organised in your work

- NZ citizenship/residency.
- NZ driver's license.
- Computer knowledge is an advantage.
