While we work in different groups and on different things, we all strive every day to make the biggest difference we can for our students in our education system.About this role | Mō tēnei tūrangaThis is a permanent, full time role based in our Invercargill office.The Business Support Coordinator works closely with the Business Support Manager to manage and coordinate business support services in the Otago Southland region.
This is a diverse role requiring leadership, problem- solving, process improvement, and team development.Key areas will include: Coaching and training team members to build capability.
Prioritizing and allocating tasks to Business Support staff.
Overseeing operational support functions such as facilities, fleet, office security, and regional response systems.Ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Salary range: $65,801.00
- $79,195.00 per annum + 3% KiwiSaver.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following capabilities and competencies: Proven ability to coordinate, coach, and mentor others.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Current driver licence is essential.
The ability and willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.
About our group and team | Mātau rōpū ake The Business Support Team is part of Te Mahau | Te Tai Runga (South), a frontline group of staff who work with education providers, children and their families across the Otago | Southland region.The team provides a broad range of administrative and project support services to different teams and functions within the Ministry.
