Store Manager

The Role:We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor / Store manager to lead our dairy logistics operations. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a strong background in warehouse management, stock control, and logistics coordination, who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and enjoys ensuring smooth, efficient processes for high-value client products under pressure
Key Responsibilities include:- Supervising daily warehouse operations, including team management, rostering, and workflow planning.
- Overseeing the handling, storage, and dispatch of import and export goods, ensuring stock integrity and compliance with NZ food safety standards.
- Coordinating with internal dispatch for truck movements, inbound and outbound deliveries.
- Managing the devan and goods receipting of container imports and exports.
- Conduct accurate stocktakes, cycle counts, to maintain precise records.
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or senior store person roles, preferably in 3PL or RMP environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and SAP or similar platforms.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team while maintaining strict compliance standards.
- Understanding of transport regulations, health & safety, and food safety protocols.
- Flexibility to occasionally work Saturdays to meet client export commitments.
- Experience in RMP warehouse environments and the food industry, including EDECs and transfer documentation in accordance with NZMPI requirements, is advantageous but not required; a strong willingness to learn and be trained is essential
