As an Excavator Operator at Remarkable People, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of excavation equipment on various construction sites in Hamilton. This is a casual position.
What you'll be doing- Operate excavation machinery, such as hydraulic excavators, to dig, move, and load materials at construction sites
- Ensure the proper maintenance and care of the excavation equipment, performing routine checks and reporting any issues
- Work collaboratively with the construction team to complete projects on time and within budget
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations at the job site
- Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with the latest operating techniques and industry best practices
- WTR Endorsement
- Full Class 1 Drivers Licence
- Previous experience as an Excavator Operator, preferably in the construction industry
- Proficient in the operation of various excavation equipment, including hydraulic excavators
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
