About the Role:

The Personal Assistant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of the Urology Service by providing proactive, timely, and flexible personal and administrative support tailored to the evolving needs of the service. This position offers essential support to the Urology Service Manager and the broader Urology team by facilitating streamlined administrative processes and ensuring accurate and prompt information management.

In addition, the Personal Assistant will collaborate with the Personal Assistant for the ORL department to provide cross-coverage as required. This part-time position requires 24 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based at Manukau Health Park.

About YouYou will interact regularly with staff and leadership at all organizational levels, including external stakeholders from partner organizations and agencies. We seek a high-performing individual who demonstrates initiative, maintains composure under pressure, and possesses exceptional organizational skills.

Key Qualifications and Attributes

Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or in a senior administrative support role
Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Visio, and Outlook
Strong report writing and documentation capabilities
Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work standards
Familiarity with administrative processes and a drive for continuous system improvement
