We're seeking a passionate individual to join our bustling cafe in Manly. As part of our team, you'll play a vital role in preparing delicious brunch and cabinet food, including baked goods, sandwiches, and short order menu items.
About the Role: Full-Time PositionStandard Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week.
Reporting Structure: Report directly to our Head Chef and Manager.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare high-quality counter food, adhering to kitchen recipes and standards.
Efficiently execute breakfast and lunch short order menu items.Collaborate effectively with the kitchen team.
Provide accurate food information to front-of-house staff.
Maintain food safety standards and complete necessary documentation.
Contribute to team meetings and suggest improvements.
Ideal Candidate:Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Skills: Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
Passion: Genuine interest in food, baking, and creating delicious dishes.
Attitude: Positive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented.
Physical Requirements: Fit and healthy to handle early mornings.
